Varilite Iridex Laser

A quick comfortable treatment that effectively treats broken capillaries, telangiectasia, and angiomas.  Varilite has the clinical versatility to precisely target superficial vessels.   Because of the different wavelengths, the varilite laser can treat a wider variety of skin color/tone.

How does it work?

The Varilite Laser generates a beam of light that selectively reaches the desired target. The laser light is then absorbed by the red blood cells. The laser causes decomposition by heat, destroying the unwanted cells and leaving the healthy cells intact.

What should I expect?

There is little to no downtime. Post-treatment redness/ pinkness usually subsides within 1-2 hours when treating facial capillaries/telangiectasia.  When treating angiomas any area on the face or body, it can take a couple of weeks to heal.  It is important to have treated only when you have downtime to be out of the sun. Due to the treatment site needing the proper time to heal.

How many treatments are necessary?

Varilite usually takes 1-3 treatments to reach your desired goal.  Maintenance is usually once a year.  The treatment time is 10-15 minutes per treatment.
