Megan Cherry, MD, FAAD

Village Dermatology is pleased to announce that Megan Cherry, MD is joining our practice in July of 2012.

A native of Mobile, Dr. Cherry graduated first in her class at Birmingham-Southern College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology–Psychology in 2004. She continued her medical training at The University of Alabama, where she was recognized as the highest ranking student in the clinical setting upon graduation in 2008. In 2012, Dr. Cherry completed her residency at UAB where she was named Chief Dermatology Resident.

Dr. Cherry is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women’s Dermatologic Society, along with a host of other professional memberships.

Dr. Cherry met her husband while attending Birmingham-Southern College and they decided to make Birmingham their home.

“I knew I wanted to practice at Village Dermatology when I saw the commitment of the entire staff towards their patients. That level of patient service is my number one goal.”

Dr. Cherry specializes in surgical and cosmetic procedures, as well as medical dermatology.

“I look forward to building long standing relationships with my patients and their families.”
