Botox® / Wrinkle Reducers

These injectable fluids smooth fine lines and deep wrinkles caused by facial movement. They create a subtle effect that makes a big difference in restoring youth. Their application is brief, with little to no downtime or side effects, and results that typically last 3 to 4 months.

Botox®

A pioneering product in anti-aging, Botox® was the first FDA-approved injectable used to smooth wrinkles on the upper face. Crow’s feet, frown lines and furrowed brows are no match for the trusted formula, which is also used in other areas, such as neckband creases. Botox® is still the most popular product of its kind and works by deactivating the persistent, wrinkle-causing muscle contractions developed as we age. Results appear within 24 to 48 hours, with maximum effect visible at 30 days.  Learn More

Dysport®

Dysport® is a Botox-like solution used to smooth wrinkles caused by facial movement. The FDA-approved brand performs much like Botox®, is similar in formula, and treats the same target areas. There are some differences to consider in dosage and diffusion. Our dermatologists and medical staff can advise you on the best choice for your needs.  Learn More

Jeuveau®

Jeuveau is an injectable medication within the class of products that Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify reside. Similar to these other products, it is used to treat and temporarily improve the appearance of wrinkles on the upper portion of the face. Jeuveau works by inhibiting the release of acetylcholine, a chemical messenger that causes muscle contraction. When injected into specific areas of the upper face, Jeuveau can help to relax these muscles and improve the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.  Learn More

Daxxify™

Daxxify is the newest injectable to compete in a neuromodulator market dominated by Botox Cosmetic. Daxxify is different – it has been developed and studied to provide patients with longer results. According to their clinical trials, approximately 50% of patients continue to have fully effective results at 6 months. With this new product, consumers need fewer yearly visits, thereby improving the overall patient experience.  Learn More

Fillers & Volumizers

These minimally invasive injectables restore youthful volume and fullness lost in the aging process. They are mainly used in the mid to lower face for smoothing wrinkles, defining contours and enhancing lips, often in a single treatment. There are many options to choose from depending on the target area, aesthetic goals, and lifestyle.

Juvederm®

The Juvederm family of fillers is the #1 brand of dermal fillers in the US.  These FDA-approved hyaluronic fillers are used to restore lost volume and smooth wrinkles by replacing our body’s naturally occurring hyaluronic acid lost to age.  The Juvederm collection offers a wide range of options for patients and providers alike.  Learn More

Restylane®

Restylane® is similar to Juvederm® as a hyaluronic gel but has a different manufacturing process that uses different size particles for each formulation.  The Restylane collections of fillers have a range of duration from 6 months to a year.  Learn More

Sculptra®

Sculptra® differs from other fillers in its ability to gradually achieve long-term smoothness and volume through a series of multiple injections. It primarily targets deep facial wrinkles around the nose and mouth. A full treatment of 3 sessions over a few months can yield effects lasting up to 2 years. Patients enjoy major, yet discreet improvements in smoothness and wrinkle reduction.  Learn More

Kybella

Kybella® is a first in class product designed to eliminate unwanted fat cells underneath the chin (aka: Double Chin).  It is made of a naturally occurring substance called deoxycholic acid.  Deoxycholic acid is found in our gut and it helps us break down fat when we consume it as part of our daily macronutrient intake.  In the hands of an experienced injector, like dermatologists at Village Dermatology, it can be used to contour the submental area for a much younger looking face.  Learn More

Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser Skin Resurfacing is a general term used in the medical aesthetics industry to describe a method by which very precise layers of the skin are taken off with a laser.  This method allows for the bodies natural healing response to produce new healthy skin cells.  Depending on the type of laser a practice has will determine what type of resurfacing will take place.  Not all lasers are made the same and at Village Dermatology we use the finest lasers to decrease the risk of injuring the skin beyond what is necessary for optimal results.
